The Alliance for Excellence in Tape Testing is Formed

Northbrook, Ill., September 1, 2005 - Pressure Sensitive Tape Council and Chemsultants International formed the Alliance for Excellence in Tape Testing to provide educational opportunities and resources on proven tape testing methods and state-of-the-art tape testing equipment.

"Based on the desire of PSTC to provide the industry with a variety of additional educational opportunities in the area of PSA tape testing and a preferred resource for state-of-the-art tape testing equipment, we formed the alliance with Chemsultants," said Glen R. Anderson, PSTC executive vice president. "As the Pressure Sensitive Tape Council promotes quality tape products through stringent test methods, it recognizes companies may seek assistance with implementation. Chemsultants offers test equipment sales, laboratory testing services and training/certification based on the stringent PSTC test methods."

Additionally, Chemsultants has developed a comprehensive training program covering 12 of the most popular PSTC test methods. This DVD-based training program is available in English, Spanish and Chinese and allows users to conduct their own on-site training with all involved employees. The DVD includes step-by-step instructions for use with your teams, the current PSTC Test Methods Manual and Chemsultants International materials to further enhance testing capabilities.
