FACTORS INFLUENCING THE USE OF CARTON SEALING TAPES, AND LABELS, IN THE ASIA PACIFIC REGION

The influence of external factors on the performance of acrylic pressure sensitive adhesive (PSA) box tape, and corrugated adhesion of acrylic PSA labels will be discussed; specifically, how external factors can affect box closing ability in the case of tape, and how paper label pressure sensitive adhesives can be affected in end-use performance.

Influences from box type, the nature of box fibres, constructions, and environmental factors in the region will be explored. All these factors need to be considered in developing an excellent performing PSA for these applications. Understanding external influences and their affects are important for developing a desirable product.
