PSTC announces John T. Poulton as the inductee to the organization’s prestigious Hall of Fame. Poulton joins the ranks of some 35 members, all of whom are considered valued members of PSTC and illustrious leaders within the pressure sensitive adhesive industry.
Poulton began his involvement with PSTC when he started attending Technical Seminars in 1986 and continued his involvement as a Dahlquist Award judge from 1994 to 1997. In 2004, he officially joined the Technical Seminar Committee as a member and acted as Chair to the annual event in 2007.
In 2009, Poulton Chaired the Technical Steering Committee, in which he helped to provide direction and assistance to the Education, Technical Seminar, and Test Methods committees. This valued participation drove his involvement in the interview and selection process of the PSTC Tech Seminar Academic Advisor in 2010. He has been a member of the Education-Training Steering Committee since 2011. Poulton currently serves as the R&D Vice President for American Biltrite, Inc. and has been the Education Advisor to the PSTC Technical Seminar Committee since 2012.
Poulton said that while his entire experience working with PSTC has been very rewarding and memorable, he is most proud of his contributions to the development of the organization’s first marketing video, along with the knowledge and friendship gained from former PSTC Executive Director and Hall of Fame member Glen Anderson, as well as Hall of Fame member and Technical Advisor Michael Tumey.
Poulton recieved this award during PSTC’s annual Fall Executive Business Meeting, which took place at the Naples Beach Hotel & Golf Club in Naples, FL. on Nov. 11.
